Spencer Kroll MD PhD FACP FNLA is a Board Certified Internal Medicine Specialist and a nationally recognized cholesterol and lipid disease expert. He is a Fellow of the American Board of Lipidology. He is a co-author of "The Ozempic Diet" and "The Ultimate Semaglutide Handbook". He is a George Washington University School of Medicine graduate and did his internship and residency in internal medicine at Georgetown University. Before this, Dr. Kroll was a Howard Hughes Scholar at Mount Sinai School of Medicine where he completed his PhD in Pharmacology and Masters Degree in Bio-statistics.
Dr. Kroll hosted the podcast series "This Week In Cholesterol". He was a Principal Investigator for many clinical trials. He has authored many research articles and appeared as a guest on many medical shows including ReachMD- The Channel for Medical Professionals as an expert
on cholesterol and lipid disorders. He is a contributing author representing the National Lipid Association for Sharecare, which connects patients with medical experts. He is recognized as a thought leader for new clinical treatments for cholesterol disorders, including PCSK9 Inhibitors, to which he has contributed a lot of research. Dr. Kroll has been recognized as a NJ Top Doc for many years including most recently 2023. He has also repeatedly received the Compassionate Doctor Award.Dr.
