​Lipid Consultation​

• If you are seeing Dr. Kroll for a lipid consultation, please be aware that this consultation may or may not be covered by your insurance company.   Check with our office staff regarding coverage.  If necessary, Dr. Kroll's staff will assist you in filling out forms to seek reimbursement from your insurance company, but payment is required on the day of service.  
  
  ​Please make sure to fill out the appropriate lipid consult intake forms, print them out and bring them to your appointment.  Bring any previous blood work, scans and consult request from your doctor (if necessary).  A lipid consultation typically takes between 30 minutes and 1 hour.   Plan on fasting for 12 hours prior to the first appointment in case blood work needs to be drawn.   Gather any information you have about family history of heart disease, stroke, diabetes or vascular disease.  ​
